Ms. Nirmala is an EEC certified teacher. She has years of experience with children and she is very caring and fun loving to children.
Our Story
Childcare need
The founder has 10 years of experience working in childcare settings. She realized the need for a good childcare and started Arlington Family Day Care to serve the local community. Within six months, Arlington Family Day Care was full, providing services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers and pre-K.

At Arlington Family Daycare, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Family Child Care offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.

There truly aren’t enough words to adequately describe how grateful we are to have found Arlington Family Daycare, and how talented Ms. Poonam is in what she does. Ms. Poonam cares for our son with such attention to detail, loving kindness, and thoughtful and careful thinking about how he spends his time throughout the day that we truly feel that she is a partner in helping our son grow and flourish. Each day that our son sees her he lights up with happiness, and so especially because we are first-time parents, we truly feel that she has become an invaluable resource to us in every way because of her vast experience.
Each day we marvel at the way she balances purposefully planned activities for the day with freedom for exploration and independent discovery. We see her doing this with our infant son, as well as with the older children. For this reason, we intend to keep our son with Ms. Poonam for as long as possible because we cannot envision a more loving and stimulating environment for a child to thrive.

We know Mrs Poonam from when she was a teacher at my older ones daycare. And when we wanted to start our younger ~3 year old with daycare, we were happy to know she had started her own center.
She has a genuine affection for kids, which clearly showed in how both our kids responded to her. She was very flexible which helped us as we were planning a big move.
The daycare is very well planned out, the area as soon as you enter is filled with tons of age appropriate toys - a boon during the initial days of 'transition'! After a day, Mrs Poonam was ready with some interesting activity at hand for the younger one to engage with as soon as we started- this made the transition very easy. Couldnt believe it when by day 5, he was skipping in to 'school' and waving goodbye's! There is tons of space outside for a lot of activities and variations to keep the kids engaged, both kids loved it!
If we hadnt moved, we would have loved to continue here!
